I took the pill in my teens and like you, I had yeast infections. Throughout it all, I tried two different kinds. Also had nausea, water retention, my breasts were incredibly painful.

Plus, my dystonia & my eczema got worse, to the point that I needed my wheelchair every day and was using steroid creams constantly to keep the eczema under control.

It pretty much convinced me that the pill not right for me personally (obviously).

Instead I focused on diet and lifestyle and I’m glad I did

That also happened to me and before i started taking the pill my acne really wasn’t as bad as i thought but then i went on the pill and my face was completely clear and i was happy and i was only on it for about 6 months then i went off and now i have cystic acne on my jawline and it’s horrible and not going away. I have a very bad candida overgrowth and have gone on two detoxs since then but i am going to start eating a lot healthier

yeah!!! wtheck! i have 2 on my jawline right now… it freaking hurts… i’ve been using this mask with 10% sulfur and it’s been helping. before i go to bed, i dab some of it on the area and it takes me about a week to get rid of them… =

i went to a derm and he scolded me saying birth control doesn’t help your skin at all. the guy was a religious nutbag so i wasn’t surprised.
there isn’t one set pill for everyone. thankfully orthotricyclen works for me.

Yep, it helps acne and cramps, I use it for my cramps and to lighten my period and for the main cause. It will only help, it doesn’t get rid of it.

I don’t think they have those. I have a really horrible period too. I just take normal birth control. But since oct, I haven’t been having my period.

My friend’s mom is a doctor and she has told us that one of the permanent side affects of any brand is the thinning of the endometrium (the lining of the Uterus). So that’s why when you do want to have children it gets harder and harder to get pregnant. She really does not recommend girls to take the pill, unless it’s crucial for their health. It’s preferable for women who have already had children.

How do you know if you have cystic acne?
I am 15 and am on menocycline and tetinoin for my severe acne and in a year, if my skin is not clear I will be going on the pill.

yoy know that you have cystic acne if you have hard pimples that are under the skin and wont “pop”

Do you know of anyone that has had worse acne with birth control use? I just started taking one two weeks ago and my face acne is the worse it has ever been. I was only taking it to help my skin and I’m having opposite effects than I expected.

The pill is lethal..!! usually it makes you estrogen dominant which leads to a whole load of complications including infertility down the track..
